The PGA Tour heads to Asia and the CIMB Classic

Whilst the European Tour has embraced the Far East with its golf tournaments for a number of years, the PGA Tour has been slow to follow. In 2010 the CIMB Classic became the first sanctioned PGA Tour event in SE Asia. This year it also becomes the first regular Tour event to have ranking FedExCup points and becomes the biggest golfing event ever to be held in Malaysia.

Why Apple's iOS 7 update is great news for golfers

I remember taking a trip to the practise ground with my dad once. Armed with a video camera we set about recording his golf swing from different angles. In the days before mobile phones, DVDs or even PCs, it was perhaps the first, and last, time he ever embraced technology.  Golfers today are spoilt for choice with online media and apps available for self recording and analysing their swings. And things just got even better with Apple's iOS 7 software update.
